To understand who Original Sin is, we must do a step back in time. 2009, precisely. Most of you were probably not into Drum & Bass yet, but those who were will definitely remember G Dub. That duo smashed raves, parties and dancefloors with heavy jump up anthems that will forever remembered. And is exactly from there that Adam Tindall comes from, having been one of the two guys of the duo until 2009. Today, after some time, Adam is back with Red Mist EP, a collection of four songs that will vibe the shit out of anyone’s music reproduction device. Personally, I can’t wait to use to use these songs in my next mixes, because they really are those tunes that, no matter when you play them, they will immediately change the mood of the party to bad to good or to good to bananas.
The four songs of the EP are all massive and the feeling they give you while listening is basically like being hit by a straight-forward block of concrete shaped like a sub-woofer with dragon wings (if it helps to get the idea of it). From start to end, this EP gets you sticked to your headphones like you really want to hear what’s next, which is the typical effect of the best TV Series but also the best music albums. Adam is not new to this smashing releases, on the contrary, we can definitely say that he’s used to it. Most of you will remember that he has been part of the Playaz roster in the last five-six years, and the Playaz website basically says (quote):
“Adam and Jake’s studio let off more anthems than an Olympic Games opening ceremony and tracks such as ‘Tink ya Bad?’, ‘Warp Speed’, ‘Forever’ and ‘Beast City’ have collectively smashed up more dancefloors than a specialist nightclub demolition team.”
Well, I couldn’t have said that better than this, really. What I suggest is that y’all log in to your Beatport account or to the Viper Recordings website, with your credit card aside, and buy this EP right now. To convince you in this, I want to provide you with one track, as always, that will facilitate the whole decision. Here’s to you Expansions, my favourite track of the EP, you find it at thet end of the page. Enjoy!
