Hey there bassheads!
We’re back after another month with the new chapter of the Pimpslap chart. You already know how it goes: we make a list of the songs that made us move the most in this last month and that have just been released, and we then organize it on YouTube for you to listen comfortably. What you might have noticed is that we changed our featured image for this! New year, new resolutions, but since we’re artists we apply them in February and not in January.
This month we have a new song by the emerging duo Pola & Bryson featuring the enchaning Charlotte Haining which shook more than one heart in our blog editing group. If you’re wondering who the hell are Pola & Bryson, this article is for you.
We also feature the new remix from the master Calibre, who remixed Walk the same Lines by Total Science and Riya. That was a very good surprise to find in the newsfeed, since I really love both Calibre and the original artists. We also got a song that got us completely speechless: we’re talking about Rap Shit by Link, you should really follow this artist if you don’t. In case you forgot about his existence there is a new song by Murdock, the belgian party-boy who never ceased to throw amazing parties and amazing songs. The song is called Make me Stronger and the voice belongs to Jenna G.
A mention of honor goes to a guy who is a follower of us, one of those always commenting and being active part of our readers community: Betafuture. He sent us a demo and asked if we could feature it, we listened to it and realized that -yes, we can!- because for a newcoming artist who probably doesn’t have all what he needs to output top notch music, he has made a very good track named The Portal. It is possible to actually be featured, if what you send us is nice, guys!
Finally, we want to talk about the one that has been the most interesting track of this month: Spychase, by Insideinfo. Paul Bondy knows what he does, we talked about it here, and the song has definitely the weirdest and most interesting intro of the last months and probably years. We got told (heard it through the grapevine, a girl has no name, *wink wink nudge nudge*) that he’s finished an entire album. This is GOOD news.
‘Nuff of this, now go and listen to what we collected for you!
